Helpful Hints for Storing Metal Roofing

CAUTION: Metals Direct Roofing Panels have sharp edges. Always wear protective clothing and gloves.

Do not store metal roofing in an area where moisture can accumulate. Bundled metal roofing must be covered with a breathable tarp (do not use plastic) and stored on a slant to permit drainage. Metal roofing must be stored properly in transit or on the job site.

To avoid rust stains, remove metal shavings/particles after drilling.

Failure to comply with these storage procedures relieves the manufacturer of responsibility for any resultant damage to, or deterioration of, the product and voids all warranties. There is no implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for purpose. So be sure to protect yourself by taking proper care of your new metal building or metal roofing.
